*** Please buy folders WITHOUT prongs.

  • Pencils. LOTS of pencils! (Please make sure you have some at home, too.)

  • Headphones (needed for several classes - important!)

  • Non-metal water bottle (or one with a rubber boot - they are LOUD when they fall!)

  • 2 boxes of Kleenex (Give to your  advisory class)

  • 1 tube of disinfectant wipes (Give to your advisory class)

  • Red notebook and red folder (Reading)

  • Purple notebook and purple folder  (Writing)

  • Blue notebook and blue folder (Math)

  • Green folder (Science)

  • Yellow folder (Social Studies)

  • 12+ pack of colored pencils (Social Studies)

  • Tennis shoes and swimsuit/towel (Phy. Ed)

  • Thumb drive & mouse (wired or wireless) (Tech Literacy)

  • Chromebook Case/Cover (Highly recommended)

  • Pencil pouch (Highly recommended)

  • Hand held pencil sharpener (Recommended)

  • Binder (2” or less) to store folders/notebooks in (optional)

  • Please do not bring Trapper Keepers (they do not fit in our lockers)

Mrs. Appelwick

  • Two boxes of Kleenex

  • One box of pencils (Please label the box so we can distribute them throughout the year)

  • Wired headphones will be required for reading/math.

Ms. Wines

  • Wired headphones will be required for reading

  • Non graphing, handheld calculator will be required for math

  • One folder



7th Grade - Students will be issued 1:1 Chromebooks for educational purposes during the year. 

The 7th grade team requests that all students come to school with the following materials to contribute to their Advisory (Railtime) if possible: 

  • 2 boxes of tissues (such as Kleenex), 2 (12 count) box of pencils, 1 (12 count) box of washable markers

Each student will need the following materials in ALL CLASSES:

  • (2) 20 pack of pencils (Both standard #2 and mechanical are fine)

  • Erasers

  • Headphones (earbuds or simple over the ear headphones - need not be expensive)

  • Individual Chromebook Cover (highly recommended)

  • No Trapper Keepers Please (Reason: they do NOT fit well in our lockers and students end up leaving them in hallways)

Each teacher on the 7th grade team also requests these individual classroom materials: 

  • 6 Colored Folders- Green (Science), Blue (Math),Yellow (Social), Red (ELA), Purple (Health), Black (Steam)

  • 3 Spiral Notebooks (70 Pages)- Yellow (Social), Red (ELA), Purple (Health)

  • 2 Composition Notebooks- Science and ELA

  • HEALTH (Mr. McNamee) - 1 box of markers or colored pencils to be donated to the class

  • SCIENCE (Mrs. Giebner) - Composition notebook, colored pencils, -Please consider donating one or more of the following items for classroom use throughout the year: glue sticks, markers, colored pencils, construction paper, masking tape, Clorox wipes and small boxes of baking soda.

  • STEM (Mr. Bridges) -1 fine point black Sharpie, 1 roll of 2” masking tape or duct tape, 1 roll of macrame cord (craft cord) 3mm x 109 yards preferable (easiest place to purchase is Amazon)

*Donations needed: paper towel tubes, white liquid school glue, egg cartons, colored pencils, plastic bottle caps (any size, any color), additional macrame cord, CD’s or DVD’s that you no longer use

8th Grade - Students will have 1:1 Chromebooks for educational purposes during the year

Each student will need the following materials to be used in many of their classes:

  • 2 Boxes of tissues (such as Kleenex) to be given to 1st hour teacher for use throughout the year by all students

  • 3+ boxes of 12- 24 count pencils; erasers

  • At least one box of markers AND colored pencils

  • WIRED Headphones (earbuds or simple over the ear headphones - need not be expensive)


The following classes/teachers have specific material needs for their classes:

  • MATH (Mr. Strom) - a one-inch 3 ring binder, loose leaf paper

  • SOCIAL STUDIES (Mrs. Gagne) - 24 count box of colored pencils, 1 folder, pencils, and one 70 page notebook

  • SCIENCE (Mrs. Johnson) - folder for notes and assignments, pencils, colored pencils.  Please consider donating one or more of the following items for classroom use throughout the year:  markers/crayons/colored pencils, plastic metric ruler, glue sticks,  masking tape, scotch tape, scissors, construction paper (any color),  index cards (any size/color), baggies (any size), slinkies (plastic or metal) 

  • ENGLISH (Mrs. Barilla) - One folder and 2 composition notebooks. 

  • HEALTH - One 70 pg. notebook and 1 folder for handouts and worksheets.

  • CHOIR/BAND (Mrs. Steward, Mrs. Sandor, Mr. Westendorf) - Headphones and a pencil for music folder. 1 box of kleenex (if able)

  • PHY ED:  $ for school provided uniform shirt.  Black/green bottoms - shorts (proper leggings) or sweat pants, and tennis shoes.

  • Resource Math 8th (Mrs. Swanson/Ms. Wines) - 1 pair of wired headphones, 1 calculator, 1 notebook

  • Resource Reading (Mrs. Swanson/Ms. Wines) - 1 pair of wired headphones, 1 notebook


9th, 10th, 11th, 12th Grade - Students will have 1:1 chromebooks for educational purposes during the year. 

PHS students should make sure to have the following supplies:

  • Science 9th grade

    •  Chromebook charger

    • TWO (one for each semester) Single -subject Composition or spiral ring notebook, college ruled preferred.

    • Pencils, pens, highlighter

    • Scientific calculator - Smartphone calculators will NOT be allowed in my class.

  • Biology: 1 ½ inch binder, pencils.  Donations of: masking tape, clorox wipes, kleenex, zip lock baggies (any size), saran wrap.

  • Anatomy - Fine tip black sharpie, 1 ½ inch binder, colored pencils, fine tipped markers, highlighters - yellow, blue, pink, orange.  

  • CITS Calculus, CITS Precalculus, CITS Probability and Statistics - TI 84 Graphing calculator.

  • All Business Classes - Pocket folder and notebook.

  • Math Classes:  TI 84 CE Graphing Calculator, Graph Paper.

  • Culinary I and II:  1” three ring binder, one pack of 3-hole plastic page protectors and simple calculator.

  • High School PE electives:  A list of supplies and clothing needed will be provided at the time of class per current CDC guidelines.

  • All other classes:  Single subject notebook, two pocket folders, and Pens/Pencils.

  • Resource Reading 10, 11 and 12 - Mrs. Boespflug -  1 composition notebook and colored pencils.

  • Resource Math 4 - Mrs. Boespflug - 1” three ring binder and colored pencils.
